with some defensible space work as part of their community
service and fundraising programs. Contact your local department
chief to determine their availability. Please realize that
these all-volunteer departments may not have time to provide
these services and homeowners should pursue other alternatives
for defensible space creation.

|Turtle Rock Park Biomass Pile will not be open Spring 2010, due to county budget limitations. The Alpine Fire Safe Council has applied for a grant to help fund the collection site this fall. Award determination has not yet been made.
